RENTAL TERMS & POLICIES
Forms of Payment: All rentals are to be paid in U.S. dollars and can be any combination of cash, check, or a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).
Deposit Requirements: Backstage Backline reserves the right to charge up to a 50%, non-refundable deposit on any rentals to properly allocate and schedule all or any requested equipment.
Rush Fee: Backstage Backline reserves the right to charge a 20% rush fee on all rentals with less than a 48 hour notification prior to the equipment being picked up, delivered, or loaded in. The rush fee is based on the entire rental rate, including labor. Should any additions or substitutions be made on an existing order, Backstage Backline reserves the right to apply the 20% rush fee based on any additional charges.
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations or reductions to an existing order must be made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup, delivery, or load in time. Should a cancellation be made with less than a 48 hour advance notice, Backstage Backline reserves the right to charge the full rental rate plus a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee is based on the entire rental rate, including labor. Should a reduction be made on an existing order, Backstage Backline reserves the right to apply the 20% restocking fee based on the value of the reduced order.
Equipment Failure: Backstage Backline tests all rental equipment prior to it leaving it's facility to ensure proper operation. Should the equipment provided by Backstage Backline fail while in the responsibility of the renting party, it is the responsibility of the renter/contract holder to contact Backstage Backline immediately. This is required to verify the problem and to assist the renter/contract holder as to a possible and immediate remedy. Failure to contact Backstage Backline at the time of the failure may result in the renter/contract holder being held liable for the full contracted amount. Should the failure be determined to be the fault of the renter/contract holder, any repair charges incurred will be the responsibility of the renter/contract holder. This may also include any lost subsequent rental (s) while the equipment is out of service and being repaired.
Backstage Backline strives to accommodate its clientele and artists as appropriately and reasonably as possible. All rental terms and policies are guidelines to generate fair business practices. Only Backstage Backline reserves the right to waive or enforce any or all of the stated rental terms and policies.
